Rishikesh is a famous tourist destination located in Dehradun
district of Uttarakhand state. Rishikesh is situated in the foothills
of the Himalayas in North India and is known as the Gateway to
the Garhwal Himalayas' and the 'Yoga Capital of the World'. The city
is located about 25 km north of Haridwar and 43 km southeast
of the capital Dehradun. It is known as the city of pilgrimage and
\ is considered one of the holiest places of the Hindus.
